The recipe for biscuit rose was created in 1691 (yes, more than three centuries ago) in the august city of Reims. Apart from its signature color biscuit rose is loved for its crispy and melting texture. The pairing of biscuit rose and raspberry, presented in a lovely tin, makes for a delightful gift.
The origin of Maison Fossier dates back to the 18th century. Biscuits roses were presented at the coronation of Louis XVI in Reims in 1775.
