    the worst marron glaces ever..

Posted by Valerie Buffard on 28th Dec 2017

Paid $2+ a marron..and it is just a marron, no 'glacage', no taste to it and very sticky..worst marron ever and very expensive! I WILL never buy from that site again, the ones I made myself were 100% better, ok in pieces but really who cares when they taste good. — Simply Gourmand's answer: Hi Valerie, we are really sorry you were disappointed. Clément Faugier marrons glacés are one of our holiday best-sellers and our customers are usually very happy with them. It's possible there is a misunderstanding about the product: as explained in our description, marrons glacés are candied chestnuts. Sugar glazing of marrons glacés varies from one confectioner to another.

I can't possibly go through the holiday season without Faugier marrons glacés. They're deliciously moist and terribly addictive. A great present too.
