Amora Dijon mustard can be found in most French kitchens, for a good reason. This French staple is just what you need to make a perfect vinaigrette.

Amora mustards have been produced since the 1930's. Today Amora is the French condiment leader.

Ingredients: water, mustard seeds, vinegar, salt, citric acid, preservative

    Ten years older than I am, this condiment has been "my must have" where ever I was in the world. It is reminiscent of the smell of a French kitchen...Nostalgia!

    A neighbor gave us a jar 4 years ago and we have been using only this mustard since then. It is worth having it shipped here to Montana!!

    Our favorite Mustard

    I gave it only 4 stars because it is not as strong as it used to be. It says "Fine et Forte" but years ago this mustard was a lot more "Forte".

    There Is No Other Mustard Like It

    For anyone who grew up in France or a French area of Europe (I grew up in Geneva), this is the the one mustard that defines French flavor.

    You can buy lots of other French mustards in American stores but none of them come even close to the intensity and depth of flavor of Amora. In France, this is the standard mustard used by everyone, but it's much better than so-called gourmet mustards costing much more.

    I know there are all kinds of fabulous dijon mustards out there, but for me, Amora is the best. Just the right amount of spiciness, it makes the perfect vinaigrette. Delicious!

    I am a mustard junky .. my fridge is full of it of various types. I always bring Amora back from Paris, but when it runs out, I have to go back to buy more :-). I love the slightly hot taste, like horseradish, and it adds so much to a plain sandwich or a vinaigrette dressing.

    I'm lost without my Amora. It brings a great flavor to my Lemon/olive oil dressing, to the mayo with cold cuts sandwiches, and to meat in general, including pot-au-feu, cold left over of pork fillet etc
