Shipping within the U.S.A.
Orders are shipped promptly after they are placed (no later than next business day). We ship to everywhere in the United States and Canada.
We charge a flat fee of $8.50 for all ground level shipments to the 48 contiguous United States, whatever the size of your order. Delivery of ground level shipments (via FedEx or USPS as the case may be) typically takes 2 to 10 days.
Ground shipping to Alaska and Hawaii and express shipping to all 50 United States are available at carrier's rates based on weight and distance. Our website is linked to FedEx rate schedules so that you can check the fee for the shipping method you choose when you place your order and before you confirm it. We ship out of New York City, so we do not recommend opting for express shipping if your delivery address is in New York or a contiguous state: ground shipping will be as quick, and less expensive.

Shipping to Canada

We ship to Canada via USPS. Our website is linked to USPS rate schedules so that you can check the fee for the shipping method you choose when you place your order and before you confirm it.
If you order from Canada, please note that the carrier will collect taxes due on imported goods from you. The good news is, most of our products (except for candies, chocolate and limonade) are exempted from GST/HST.

"Best By" Dates
Our products have a shelf life of at least 60 days and often much longer. Any shorter shelf life is highlighted in the corresponding product description.

Chocolate Shipments
We do not ship chocolate during the hottest months to avoid you bad surprises at delivery. Please take your region's climate into account when ordering chocolate at other times of the year. We are sorry but we can bear no responsibility for melted chocolate.

Returns and Refunds
You may return unopened products within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective product), we will also pay the return shipping costs.
If you need to return a product, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned product.
Please notify us immediately (at contact@simplygourmand.com) of any product damaged in shipment and keep it available for carrier's inspection within 10 days of delivery. We will ship a replacement product or issue a refund, whichever works better for you. Please note that shipment damages should be notified within 5 days of delivery.

No Sales Tax on Most Products
We are required by law to collect a 8.875% sales tax on taxable products shipped to the State of New York. The good news is, all the products we sell are exempted from sales tax, with the exception of candies and chocolate. If your billing address is in New York and your order includes candies or chocolate, sales tax will be added to the purchase value of these products only (and to the shipping fee) when you enter your order and before you confirm it. In all other cases, you owe no sales tax.

Eco-Friendly Packaging
We ship in partly recycled, 100% recyclable, boxes. The loose fill we put inside the boxes to protect your products is either recycled or 100% biodegradable.
