Shipping

We ship out of New York City to everywhere in the United States using UPS. Orders ship promptly after they are placed (no later than next business day). We are right now testing UPS for shipping to Canada. If you're in Canada, just enter your address and go with UPS Standard as your shipping option.

UPS Ground shipping to the 48 contiguous United States is free for all orders above $75. UPS rates based on weight and distance apply to all other options (UPS Ground for orders under $75, UPS Ground for all orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and FedEx Next Day Airt). UPS Ground shipping typically takes one to five business days, depending on your location.

Our website is linked to UPS rate schedules so that you can check the fee for your chosen shipping method when you place your order and before you confirm it. We ship out of New York City, so we do not recommend opting for express shipping if your delivery address is in New York or a contiguous state: ground shipping will be as quick (or quicker) and less expensive.

"Best By" Dates

Our products have a shelf life of at least 60 days and often much longer. Any shorter shelf life is highlighted in the corresponding product description.

Chocolate Shipments

We do not ship chocolate during the hottest months to avoid you bad surprises at delivery. Please take your region's climate into account when ordering chocolate at other times of the year. We are sorry but we can bear no responsibility for melted chocolate.

Returns and Refunds

You may return unopened products within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective product), we will also pay the return shipping costs.

If you need to return a product, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned product.

Please notify us immediately (at contact@simplygourmand.com) of any product damaged in shipment and keep it available for carrier's inspection within 10 days of delivery. We will ship a replacement product or issue a refund, whichever works better for you. Please note that shipment damages should be notified within 5 days of delivery.

Your personal information (including your credit card number) is protected through secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology prior to transmission over the internet. 

The information we collect to process your orders is kept strictly confidential. We never share your contact data or your credit card information with anyone.

No Sales Tax on Most Products

We are required by law to collect a 8.875% sales tax on taxable products shipped to the State of New York. The good news is, all the products we sell are exempted from sales tax, with the exception of candies, chocolate, and non-food products. If your billing address is in New York and your order includes candies, chocolate, and/or non-food products, sales tax will be added to the purchase value of these products only when you enter your order and before you confirm it. In all other cases, you owe no sales tax.

Eco-Friendly Packaging

We ship in partly recycled, 100% recyclable, boxes. The loose fill we put inside the boxes to protect your products is either recycled or 100% biodegradable.
