Double filled with chocolate these golden crispy wafers are a treat for both children and coffee drinkers. And they're a lot of fun too! You can practice your French with a different little message "printed" on top of each wafer. Hence the original name gaufrette amusante.
Engène Blond started making wafers in northern France (near Belgium) in 1894. More than a century on and the wafer factory is still going strong.
